The Morocco Pavilion at Epcot is one of the most immersive in the World Showcase. I always find it so easy to lose myself in the elaborate pathways. Complete with a replica of the Koutoubia Minaret, the pavilion was designed to look and feel like a real Moroccan city. Traditional artisans travelled from Morocco to create and install the complex mosaics that decorate the pavilion with complete authenticity.
Savoury dining is offered at Restaurant Marrakesh and the shops are brimming with gifts of Morocco. The Brass Bazaar and Casablanca Carpets are where you’ll find unique housewares, art and collectibles. Souk-al-Magreb is the spot for Fez hats, pretty beaded bags and all things Aladdin. My favourite is Marketplace in the Medina, styled as an open air Moroccan market selling hand woven baskets, straw hats and colourful kaftans.
