Whether you’re planning your first, second or tenth Disney Cruise the fun is definitely in the details. From selecting a stateroom to arranging excursions, there are so many delicious decisions to be made. For our February 2015 sailing I booked directly through Disney Cruise Line rather than with a travel agent, and found cast members to be helpful and accommodating every step of the way.
One of my favourite pre-cruise details is the personalized itinerary that arrives in the mail about one month before sailing. This comprehensive little booklet contains all of your passenger information, a vacation checklist, passport and embarkation information, sailing itinerary, gratuity guidelines, contact cards and luggage tags. Reading through the booklet is an enjoyable way to ensure that everything is taken care of before your voyage. Oh, and Captain Mickey is on the cover, too!
Before we received our itinerary, a Disney Cruise Line planning guide arrived in the mail outlining our reservation details and a new personalized Online Planning Center. We have only three more Disney cruises to reach Castaway Club Gold Level Membership – and a few more passenger perks!
