I’ve always loved Retta Scott’s illustrations for Walt Disney’s Cinderella. Her charming paintings were originally featured in the Big Golden Book of Cinderella and Cinderella Puppet Show, both published in 1950. Recently, I came across a Little Golden Book reprint of the original classic. It’s very sweet, but I would love to find a vintage copy under the tree this year!
