On our honeymoon visit Michael and I booked a Backstage Safari – a three hour look at the dedicated care of animals at the park. It was wonderful to see the quality of care at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Cast Members ensure the health and well-being of over 1,500 animals at the park. From customized water filtration and nutrition to daily enrichment and veterinary care – the energy backstage is amazing.
On a busy park day the private Kilimanjaro Safari alone was worth the price of the tour. It was like having the ultimate FastPass. I loved the extra time and information we were given on the savanna.
