REVIEW OF MICKEY’S NOT-SO-SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY

My favourite times to visit Walt Disney World are mid May or late July – I actually enjoy the humidity. But there are definitely perks to visiting off season, like attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This event requires a separate ticket, but it’s definitely worth it. The party is packed with unique character greetings and Disney Magic Shots, spooky lighting and music, stage shows and a Halloween parade that is not to be missed. Oh, and there will be candy – lots and lots of free candy.

After presenting our tickets at the front gate, we were given special wrist bands to wear, Disney themed trick-or-treat bags and a park map of the evening’s events. Then it was off to enjoy Magic Kingdom as a whole new experience. We made sure to visit every trick-or-treat station on the map and left well past midnight with two heavy bags overflowing with treats.
