Between our Bahamian cruise on the Disney Dream and our vacation at Walt Disney World Michael and I spent four nights at the Tropic Seas in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. This little beach resort was a family favourite while I was growing up. Returning to this seaside gem for the first time in over twenty years was quite special and a little emotional. Although Lauderdale-By-The Sea has changed over the years the seaside community has been beautifully maintained. All of the tiny oceanfront properties are just as they were and as inviting as ever.
The charming covered lobby was just as I remembered it. The rattan chairs couldn’t be more retro Florida. Every room at the Tropic Seas has an ocean view and the hotel is just a few steps from a private beach and a glistening ocean. A hidden gem and quiet paradise.
