Disney Conservation

If you’re planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida why not offset the carbon footprint of your vacation by making a contribution to the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund.  Every donation is matched by The Walt Disney Company and directed in full to conservation projects worldwide.  Each contribution is valuable and even the smallest add up.  Donating the cost of a keychain or t-shirt will make a big difference towards preserving the natural world for generations to come.  I can’t think of a better Disney souvenir than that.

On our last Disney vacation, my husband and I chose to make a contribution to the DWCF aboard the Disney Cruise Line in support of marine life and ocean health.  We also chose to support Disney’s Adopt-A-Nest Program while visiting The Seas at Epcot. Wonderfully, our Disney vacation ‘wishes’ have supported the DWCF for years.  All coins collected from Walt Disney World Resort fountains and select pressed penny machines at Magic Kingdom Park are matched by The Walt Disney Company and directed to crucial DWCF funded projects.

If you’d like to support the DWCF during your Disney vacation, contributions can be made at designated merchandise locations found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Epcot, at several Disney Resorts and aboard the Disney Cruise Line.

Donations can also be made directly to the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund.
