I planned most of the dinners Michael and I would have in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea before we’d even left on our honeymoon. One of our absolute favourites was Casa Frida. Delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine that was definitely a standout. The restaurant’s proprietor was also our server and he made excellent suggestions. We started our evening with drinks and I couldn’t wait to try the classic Margarita. It was delicious and enormous! Next was our appetizer Queso Fundido. A very simple dish but incredibly good. Chihuahua Cheese heated in earthenware casseroles on the oven’s open flames and served with Tortillas. We simply devoured it.
Michael and I both ordered El Molito as our entree. A Burrito made with either Red or Green House-made Mole and stuffed with Chicken, Rice, Beans, Tomatoes, Lettuce and topped with Sour Cream. The fresh ingredients and authentic flavours made every bite memorable. We finished our meal before we could even take photos. Breakfast at Casa Frida is next!
