High above the park’s entrance is the Walt Disney World Railroad Station. This turn of the century structure is the first thing you’ll see when you pass the front gates. It’s a beautifully detailed building, perfectly photogenic from every angle – and inside, it’s always cool and comfortable. This is one of my favourite spots to rest and linger awhile. There is something about the sound of the steam whistle in the distance that fills me with joy.
The clock tower window is dedicated to Walt Disney, it reads: Walt Disney World Railroad Office ~ Keeping Dreams on Track ~ Walter E. Disney ~ Chief Engineer
